after creating a jingle for hannover's "expo 2000" world fair which lasted thirty seconds, Kraftwerk form an entire single out of it along with different mixes . The second track is the extended version of the 3 minute radio cut . the techno-influenced "2002 mix" seems to preternaturally hint towards their direction for 2003's "tour de france soundtracks" & the last track is stripped back and feels more haunting.
Not nearly their best work, but it's surprisingly (or perhaps unsurprisingly since kraftwerk are incredible) a very good EP of refreshingly new material , their first in almost 14 years since 86's "electric cafe". a must-have for fans.
an engrossing single with 3 different mixes, my favourite being Kling Klang Mix 2002. PLANET OF VISIONS indeed.
