Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 82.9/100, a mean average of 81.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 83.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.1.

This is their most ambitious and rewarding album that they have ever made. This is mainly due to the consistency of the songs and a new level of cohesion the group seem to reach on this project. There usually is clear filler tracks on their other releases but on here it is tough to even see a single one. Every song is decent or better with many of the songs reaching incredible levels such as BOOGIE, ZIPPER, BLEACH and the first 4 minutes of SISTER/NATION. The production is astounding on this project as well allowing the listener to just glide through the record and enjoy the quality on display. They draw you in perfectly on this record as well with the catchiness of the songs that bring you back time and time again as you can't resist the music. Another major strength is the energy which is maintained brilliantly unlike on other records of theirs were it slowly fades the later in the album you go. Overall, an album that is extremely enjoyable to listen to and is packed full of very high-quality music and is definitely worth checking out.
Definitely their most ambitious album, closing the trilogy pefectly.
The boys close out their trilogy with something cool.

Man 2017 was a great year for hip hop

I'll really have to listen to this quite a few more times, I'm not sure I quite get it yet.

I really enjoyed all 3 of their 2017 releases, but it really felt like they came into their own on this one. This is their most experimental and cohesive effort to date, with each member standing out multiple times, strong hooks on nearly every song, and socially and personally conscious lyrics... not to mention an absolute blast to listen to.
Top Tracks: BOOGIE, ZIPPER, JOHNNY, STUPID, BLEACH, SISTER/NATION, RENTAL, TEAM
Least Favourite Track: STAINS

Brockhampton's most experimental and best album yet.

Between King Gizzard and Brockhampton, there's a solid top 5 2017 albums list.
