Hey y'all, welcome to my chart!
As every other user on this site, I love music. I listen to a lot of music every day and it brings so much joy to my life. I've been an avid music fan for over 10 years now, so I'm still relatively young to the scene. But, I think that this point my tastes are starting to round out a bit.
My chart definitely leans towards the heavier side of the spectrum as I am a huge fan of Punk and Alternative music (and quite frankly, any artist of any genre that can consider themselves alternative).
I should add that I consider these 100 albums my FAVORITE, not necessarily the best.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Larcx13 has this right. It is really diverse if nothing is really unusual. Even as anything but a metal fan I would add kudos for Meshuggah, Death and Converge, plus to a lesser extent for Suicidal Tendencies, Slipknot and System of a Down.
Although your Top 90 has no albums and one artist in common with my chart, I have recently taken an interest in Lorde and Janelle Monáe.

Interesting chart. I cant stand Kanye lol, but apart from that you have some really good choices here with 1 album per artist and a lot of more modern selections which I respect. Good stuff.

Looking at the rest of the chart, I never would have guessed Hunky Dory was your favorite Bowie album, let alone favorite album of all time. Anyways, great one album per artist chart.
