not one of their best albums, but it still really good. really liked the first 4 songs
This has been a real grower for me. Starting to really love it. Great band

Smooth and mellow. Its ambient atmosphere reminds me a lot of their sublime 'And then nothing turned itself inside-out' (2000), but there isn't really a Cherry Chapstick on here to break up the mood. It's a beautifully sustained, hour-plus meditation. They still haven't made a bad album.
Long time YLT fan. Listened a couple of times so far and I enjoy it. I just wanted to comment that every time Dream Dream Away comes on, it sounds like they were starting to cover a slow version of Tom Petty's Free Fallin', got to the first couple of bars... then 'act' like they forget how it goes, and keep repeating...

she's a good girl, well you get the picture. Then there is some drone in the middle, then they try playing Petty again, but it just ain't happening.
Doesn't sound like a full track to me, but I smile and think this everytime it plays this track. Shortwave/Above The Sound follow this and these tracks are brilliant.

Such a lovely album. The ambient tracks in the middle really help to secure the vibe. 20 years in and Yo La Tengo still haven't lost it.
