Not really my kind of genre but there are a few songs I really like and I appreciate the talent.

Nunca he sido un gran fan de Brian Eno. Entiendo su importancia y admiro la calidad de su trabajo, pero su música rara vez me emociona.
Este álbum es una excepción. Me parece completamente imprescindible.

I knew nothing about Brian Eno until I heard "By This River" on Nanni Moretti's drama, "The Son's Room". It has stuck with me ever since. The album is equally brilliant.

Great album... it takes time to ear everything that's happening. But when you get it all, you most probably will love it. It's a grower.

Eno released this in 1977 when he was in Berlin working with Bowie on Low and Heroes. Whereas, for Low, Bowie used Eno's Another Green World (1975) as a blueprint (IMO), Eno himself was looking forwards. The song King's Lead Hat is about Talking Heads (an anagram in fact), a band who had only just released their debut album that year. The following year would see Eno embark on producing their next three albums.
By This River and Spider & I are both beautiful songs that I used to sing to my children as lullabies.

A nice album but I found that at times the melodies were too simple or underdeveloped. "By This River" and "Julie With" were my favorite tracks.
