Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 50.4/100, a mean average of 49.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 49.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 22.1.

Alot of material. Some good moments, but really, tracks are too similar, and not in a cohesive way. Overall, it’s an ok album, par for the course for Drake.
While it's an improvement from More Life, it did not need to be 25 songs/90 minutes. Why is filler here when the album is overfull? Having said that, I find a good amount of the songs that are here acceptable. Drake's just pop at this point, not sure what else is expected from the guy who made Views. Although he ditched the dancehall, so that's good.
Drake keeps surprising me. Whenever I think "okay now he really is old news" he comes back with something that just resonates with me so hard. I know I'm probably alone in saying this, but I really like this album. Probably because it focuses on rap more than any of his previous works, so you can assume it won't get a large mainstream appeal and rock critics who only know how to judge hip hop by the beats and lyrical content, will look over it. It's the acrobatic tricks his tongue does (man that sounded sexual) that draws me to this album. Having said that, the album has a lot of fillers, and the some of them have been released and became hits, while the gems are just lying there as album cuts. And other than that, his style hasn't changed a bit, thus my rating, but I won't complain.
Bullshit
Pretentious.
Drake's talent doesn't come close to matching his ambition
Boring album.
Best songs are the pre-released singles which seems to be a common theme lately. So much filler.
Uninteresting, boring and blurry. It has its moments, but the high points aren't nearly high enough to make up for an album that's easy to fall asleep to not because its soothing, but because nothing extraordinary happens.
Ratchet Happy Birthday is perhaps the worst song I've heard this year.
Unsurprisingly boring and a mission to get through. His narratives are tired and nobody will be listening to this in 3 months. At least he got away (kinda) from the dancehall ripoffs
Again, another example of Drake overstuffing a record with too much filler. Yeah there is stuff I like on here, but then there is an equal amount of grating moments that are boring and show a lack of creativity. This is three in a row of mediocre Drake albums. I don't think he has another great album in him
