"An excellent metal album which I have gotten into more with repeated listens. 'Holy Diver' and 'Don't Talk to Strangers' are awesome metal tracks, in fact the latter is one of my all time favourite metal tracks. A very underrated metal classic."  Reply

"I'm not quite sure how this is only rated as XTC's 6th best album on BEA. Perhaps people are listening to the CD reissue which for some strange reason added the bonus tracks Smokeless Zone, Don't Lose Your Temper & The Somnombulist right in the middle of the original track listing instead of tagg..."  [+]  Reply

"I listen to this one on vinyl all the time since my uncle gave me an original copy along with Purple Rain. The sum is greater than it's parts for sure as it has a loose concept going on based on the horrible movie Prince directed (The one talent he didn't exactly shine in, though a decent actor)...."  [+]  Reply

"As most mainstream pop albums, it's fairly inconsistent. There's a lot of filler (How you get the girl, This love, I know places), but the songs that do work are pretty good, I must admit. I think that the run of "Blank space", "Style", "Out of the woods" and "All you had to do was stay" is great..."  [+]  Reply

"Both Illusion records get an 8/10 from me even though there is plenty of filler on both.Personally I believe they should of made a single record and kept the rest for b-sides and future records. My ideal Use Your Illusion album would be: 1) Civil War 2) You Could Be Mine 3) Dust N Bones 4) Live a..."  [+]  Reply

"For me, this is the album of the decade so far. It combines shoegaze, which is probably my favourite genre, with the Dinousaur Jr. esque indie rock sound, which I also love, and the result is truly fantastic. This album is so very underrated- I mean, its not even in the top ten of the year, when ..."  [+]  Reply

"Renaissance has a lot of redeeming features, mostly how Beyoncé historicises the disco canon. However, it is also indisputably overhyped, a prime example of the way popstars of the 21st century post-album-distribution hellscape of streaming can waltz into mass critical appraisal with a single for..."  [+]  Reply
