Ex Coral guitarist B.R.J follows up 2016's excellent 'West Kirby County' with 'Yawn' which is far from a yawn and is quite simply one of 2018's best albums
With his trademark husky vocals that barely raise above a breath , BRJ walks us through a sad journey of longing , heartbreak and the challenges of being a gay man in today's society all backed with soaring melodies and wandering sole-full guitars

Bill doing what he does. Only this time wearing a coat of shoegaze/slowcore/noise over his melancholy. Still bill. Still doing it right.
