This is a pretty respectable album for a band which had been going for more than 40 years when it was released. David Coverdale's voice is still very strong, and it's an album of solid rock songs.
Highlights for me are "Always & Forever" and "When I Think Of You (Color Me Blue)". This is very much personal preference though, as I'm a big "Hair Metal" fan, and these are the songs that lean most into their 80's power ballad sound.
Overall, it's in a similar vein to "1987" and "Slip Of The Tongue". I'd probably recommend those two albums over this album, but if I think anyone who's a fan of those albums would also enjoy this one.
