Elton's best album of the 80's is often considered 'Too Low for Zero', however, I really believe that this album has much stronger and more emotionally charged material throughout.
A nice comeback album...one if several.
My effort to listen to everything Elton's ever recorded in a weekend has been met with some pain (did the '80s have to happen?), but he always manages a hit single or two and this one's a little deeper, perhaps worth an end-to-end listen.
One of his better later efforts. A bit uneven but an enjoyable listen.
