One of around half a dozen essential LPs from the Wackies label, and along with Wayne Jarrett's Bubble Up, Junior Delahaye's Showcase and John Clarke's Visions prime examples of the heavy roots style that became Bushwackie's production trademark. Thick, dense and immense - the version of Money Money here is huge. In spite of classics like Skylarking and In The Light, this is Andy's finest album.
An unbelievably hip dance record, Dance Hall Style incorporates the best elements of reggae - reflections on religion, society and its vices, sociopolitical angst - into a mellow stew that you'll always want to have boiling. Andy's face on the cover says a lot of it. The music says the rest.
