A concise and punchy pop masterpiece. In proper Empress Of fashion, these songs are thrilling without being empty. They're sexual without being tasteless. They're emotional without being sentimental or overwrought.
What's new here is the polish of Us meeting the textural exploration of Me, building on the promise and singular nature of EO's debut. And here, she is at her most self-possessed and vulnerable, marrying deceptively didactic lyricism with art pop arrangements and production that are sticky and exciting in equal measure.

Another solid album from Empress Of. Queen of contemporary pop in my opinion. The tunes are just so good.
