Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. For a brief time this was my favourite album...still like it now. Probably their most consistently good album, although there are better single tracks on the preceding and following albums. Good British rock with enough pop about it to produce hit singles.
Hugely underrated follow-up to the seminal "How To Make Friends...," although it's weaker moments ("Superchronic" & "Conspiracy") leave it clearly in the tier below.
Still excited to see them play this one in full later in the year!
