From its opening track 'Nights' and through its entire short runtime, Neon Trees'latest album offers a fairly consistent and upbeat collection of feelgood-songs. The songs are brief but catchy, and most of them depict different kinds of love. Nothing original but difficult not to like. There are quirkier songs, such as 'Skeleton Boy' and more serious entries, like 'Mess Me Up'. The overall standard of the music and lyrics is great and this is an album to listen to whenever you need some cheering up.
