Previous child acting stars and self confessed Foxygen fan’s brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario are The Lemon Twigs and so it goes on ‘Songs For The General Public’ they manage to out-Foxygen Foxygen and in the process release one of 2020’s best albums
Here we have a baroque pop master class chock full of sweet hooks and beautiful melody on tracks such as “Live in Favor of Tomorrow” , “Moon” , “The One” (deserves to be massive), ”Hog” and stunning closer “Ashamed” seemingly saving the best for last which really is saying something
Lemon Twigs , my new guilty pleasure and they should be yours too
