"made in rockdown". A totally solo one-man band album 40 years after "McCartney II"... Such a joy to still have him around in such creative shape, weathered voice or not- at his age, and bearing in mind how much he pushed and brutalized it over the decades, it is to be expected . May his career last for a long time to come yet....

A meditative, literary, unexpected indie-folk left turn, out of the blue. A beautiful, rapturous suite of inter-connected songs that is worth attentive listens. Ps: and repeated listening brings a lot out of it. Masterpiece?

A second surprise album in a row, 5 months after "folklore"! Same vibe, just as beautiful (maybe more immediate to enjoy), without being a rehash. She owned the year like no other music artist.

25 years have passed since "Jagged little pill". And this is her best since, more direct, mature and relevant than ever. This album contains some of the more deeply touching songs I've heard this year. And that voice... Wow!
