Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 78.3/100, a mean average of 80.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.8.

I took me two listens to get through most of this. This is the most complete collection of Bee Gees 'Hits'. The first CD covers the late 1960s, early 1970s with amazing classics like Words, Massachusetts, I Started A Joke, Lonely Days, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart and the first song I heard by the Bee Gees on the radio, Holiday. It finishes with the early Disco sound of Jive Talkin' and You Should Be Dancing. I had a hard time getting through the 2nd disk as it got a little cheesy, but Staying Alive and How Deep Is Your Love still hold up as timeless classics.

Contains nearly all their pre-disco era pop hits of the 60s-early 70s. their disco era stuff still wasn't as vomit inducing as many claim.

Their singles in the sixties were pure magic! Wonderful crafted songs with strong melodies and superb harmony vocals by the brothers Gibb!
New York mining disaster, To love somebody, World, Gotta Get a message and several others! They defined the discoperiod in the seventies in Saturday night fever. What more is it to say?
