The jazzy vocals and the to their core hip hop production make this remind me of trip hop. Technically, but aesthetically it feels entirely different.
Sin Miedo (Del Amor Y Otros Demonios) ∞ is best described as a collection of pillow jams. Each track takes a soft fluffy synth and has Uchis' croone for psychical affection over it. I think this works best on "Telepatía" because of the deep longing in the vocals. Another successful go is on "Aquí Yo Mando" with the Rico nasty adding a needed boastfulness. The weakness of the album is it's formula. A lot of the tracks could not be picked out on their own. I do like it though that probably comes from a certain personal bias.
Tasty mixture of Latin rhythms. I think there is a search for conceptual unity but that is overcome by the high points of the album, which surprise by their symmetry: Intro and Outro and mid (Vaya con Dios; Qué te Pedi; Quiero Sentirme Bien; Telepatía).
