George Carlin released some of the greatest comedy albums of all time back at the start of the 70s. He and Richard Pryor broke ground for a new generation of comics, and his influence is still felt today (50 Years later) . As iconic as some musicians have become over the last 50 years, so has the esteem for Carlin.
