A real high point for death metal. Great musicianship, and it manages to sound evil as hell while still being pretty rockin' and even somewhat catchy at times. A really unique sound here.
I could see myself doing things with this album. It's all adventure. Down hill or up.
Not bad for a death metal album. The music is good, it moves and it grooves, and it even rocks in places. Still, I can't get beyond the Cookie Monster vocals; hence, the three star rating.
