Couple of great tracks. Mostly though, it just pleasantly plods along with a rhythmic beat. Nothing to get overly excited about. Good but works best as nice background music.
Half of the songs are a bit uninspiring, but the other half make this a great album. The singles are great obviously (Run, Chocolate, Spitting Games) but the last two tracks (Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking and Same) are my personal favourites. Chocolate also contains one of my all-time favourite lyrics - "You're the only thing that I love, Scares me more every day".
This album always brings me back to a really special place in my life. It's an amazing album, their best in my opinion.

Very good alternative rock album. Best 10 songs average is 90,0/100 and the album can get very good 90/100. Far and away best song is "Run" - maximum rating. Followed by "How to be dead", "Spitting games" and "Grazed knees" all 90/100. All other songs good 80-85/100. Favourite!

Probably Snow Patrol's best. It stands out more than the others, which is a big deal considering how samey Sonw Patrol can be.
Great album, love every song this was when I got into the band. Played it to death in the first few year.
Their Best as an album in my opinioin best tracks 'Run,Chocolate,Spitting Games, is it me or do tracks 3 & 4 sound like the same song also like 'Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking'.
Somewhere a Clock is Ticking is a nice surprise near the end. Run is the big anthem and Same was a decent ending.
