FZ does his thing.
A little more accessible than some of his works. It is a shame a lot (most) of his work is overshadowed by crudity, innuendo and utter tosh. No, I am not a prude, just a lover of really good music and thankfully there is some really good music on this album.

It is for me the best album of Frank Zappa, really Rock and certainly the most successful.
My first foray into the world of FZ was this album. It’s more accessible than most of his work with some memorable tunes accompanying the usual FZ irreverence.
A thoroughly enjoyable album. Sheik yer bouti, features some of my favourite Frank Zappa songs. Bobby Brown, is off course wonderful, but other standouts are, flakes, broken hearts are for assholes, and, dancin' fool. I love the Zappa records from this period.
Some of his stuff can be a little self-indulgent, but this album is completely on the money. Funny, irreverant and with some great tunes to boot, this is a classic Zappa album. I haven't gone through his whole catalogue, but this is my favourite so far.
1 of my fav Zappas, 'Jewish Princess' and 'Valley Girl' are gold.
