"They do rival CSN, whom I really like as well, for their vocals and harmonies. I enjoyed every song on this album and will listen to them many times to come. A very relaxing album."  Reply

"Honestly? It's good. Musically one might call it a fantastic pop record, and they would not be wrong. The politics of the lyrics are of course hard to swallow at times. It's one of those albums that I can't quite tell whether it is brashly feminist and sex-positive, or just shallow, consumerist, ..."  [+]  Reply

"A brilliant and energetic record. Kilimanjaro, is yet another of those great British albums of the late seventies/early eighties. Some fine songs in, sleeping gas, treason, and, when I dream. The CD adds the Japanese mini-album version featuring the absolutely brilliant, reward, surely the teardr..."  [+]  Reply

"Wow....suprised this isn't much higher up the list for 2001. I really like this album, it's a warm fuzzy reflective offering which has one of my favourite Mogwai tracks....'2 Rights Make 1 Wrong'."  Reply

"Burial's self-titled album is a very impressive debut; most veteran musicians have never put out work with comparable amounts of quality to this record. With the use of sampled vocals and claustrophobic beats, this record expertly captures and evokes a dark mood, along with an overwhelming sense ..."  [+]  Reply

"Taylor follows up his breakout record with another very solid effort. Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon carries some of his trademark tracks. The album is a bit more produced than Sweet Baby James, but Taylor's sound remains in tact. Its a solid rival to its predecessor and I listen to it nearl..."  [+]  Reply

"Exquisite, off-kilter dream-pop that conjures up a variety of moods, settings and time-periods. Very enveloping and an obvious precursor to later works in that genre."  Reply

"I love this album, catchy and aggressive and young. The energy in this album is infectious. Very beatle-ish melody's with Debbie's vocals charm, I mean, who can ask for more? and Clem Burke, he is everything!"  Reply

"The songwriting is almost as good as Merriweather. The production is much crisper, and after a few listens the supposed "busyness" melts away, as it does on any other Anco release. I put this in the top 3 of theirs."  Reply

"One of the best NWA solo albums. Cube's brutality on this album can justify how was probably the group's best MC. He was willing to be the villain which is quite fascinating. Interesting to note The Bomb Squad produced this album."  Reply
