Jase made a promise that if Old Joe made it to the White House he would cut an album paying tribute to artists from Georgia. Joe indeed did win the election (legitimately) and here JI delivers on that earlier commitment
Cover albums are generally hit or miss affairs and this ones no different, but overall the hits definitely out weigh the misses hight lighted by a couple of book ended R.E.M classics (“Night swimming” / “Driver 8”) where too much R.E.M is never enough, “Midnight Train to Georgia” and of course R.E.M buddy Vic Chestnut’s wonderfully bitter “I’m Through” & that’s exactly what I am
