I can't compliment this album, nor criticise it. To me it seems pretty middle of the road after the explosive stuff Jones did with The Clash.
This debut album is arguably their best, and it provided alt rock stations plenty of songs to play. That includes, of course, the excellent "The Bottom Line".
An album very much of it's time sonically, electronics and sound effects. Vocals aren't great but that's not really the point I suppose. E=mc2 is a great track, the rest are OK. Not bad, for an old fella like me it helps recall the 80's but probably not likely to set anyone elses pulse racing.
