"I remember hearing this for the first time. I was so impressed and happy. I was also surprised that somehow I had gone 23 years without ever having heard of this album or Kate Bush at all. First thing that really hits me is her voice. In general it is strong as hell and very passionate. On this a..." Reply

"It's basically tied with Swordfish, may have a slight edge in my mind. Clap Hands is such a weirdly amazing song. Anywhere I Lay My Head is just about perfect." Reply

"This represents the sound of the 80S that I don't like. Digital sounding drums, everything sounds produced, ugly synth sounds.. Even the live instruments (sax in 'latest trick' e.g.) sound like they're coming from a digital synth. The most famous track here 'Walk of Life' sounds very dated, like ..." Reply

"The Smiths's most epic work! I love both of Marr's Guitar and Morrisey's cool lyrics. my favourite song is "The Headmaster Ritual" it recall my hurted school memory. I was hit by teacher rudly. I was so shamed. And it's still my trauma.but song is too cool and bright. so I always feel both Hurtin..." Reply

"This album is masterful in every way , for many years it sat comfortably as my all time favourite . I never tire of the feedback, the chaos , the quiet loud and giddy ride . Thank you Reid brothers, thank you young Bobby Gillespie for bringing this baby into the world" Reply

"Wow! Jesus just heard all way through probably first time since the 80s, and it's amazing! I knew it well which wasn't what I expected. I always had it down as just ok. The working hour is best of the lot." Reply

"The Tommy Ramone produced "Tim" is everything you'd expect from a Replacements album - There's good tracks in 'Hold My Life' , 'Kiss Me on the Bus' & 'Left of the Dial' There's stinkers in 'Dose of Thunder' and 'Swingin Party' There's quirky in 'Waitress In the Sky' (written about Paul Westerberg..." "The group's more intense and debauched recording. The perfect middle group between Red Roses For Me's break neck traditionalism and If I Should Fall From Grace with God's (relative) pop tendencies." Reply
