Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Lykke Li has always been one of my guilty I shouldn’t like but I do music indulgences and after her lets be honest awful ‘so sad so sexy’ (all lower case) from 2018 I thought I was cured. Nope. Cue 2022’s ‘EYEEYE’ (ALL UPPERCASE), which is a concept album in the form of a 33 minute narrative movie loop that concludes after track 8, rewinds back to track 1 and continues once more. Imagine being stuck in a painful hell that simply never ends, you get the picture. No one does sad like Lykke Li
As a side note I’d recommend checking out LL’s suit of videos supporting many of the tracks here with each one presenting a 20 second clip that repeats over and over for the length of the song but presenting a story linking each video into one
