The Gospel singer Brook Benton, extended his talents to popular music at times. This compilation issued by Mercury Records (Cat#: 314 541 363-2) captures a dozen such performances. Benton brings the same intensity and fervor to these performances, whether on his own or in duets with Dinah Washington. It's a fine sampling of his recorded work. Authenticated on discogs.com
