Welcome this rival to the-dream -- smooth samples, dark synths, swooning vocals, fine hooks and even some Tnotch guest appearances -- even down to his michael jackson vocal resemblance (on some tracks). "Dedication to my ex" is the stand-out track. But as for prince, the-dream still owns the formerly-known-artist's old sound. Best described in R.I.Y.L. ("recommended if you like"): michael jackson, bobby brown, ralph tresvant, johnny gill, outkast, the-dream, usher, lil wayne, r.kelly, destiny's child & tlc.
