Robert Lockwood, Jr. (or as he is known on this album, "Robert Jr. Lockwood") is one of the primary practitioners of Robert Johnson's Country Blues in the Chicago Area. This 1992 release on Evidence Records (Cat#: ECD 26020-2)finds the guitarist performing a mix of Robert Johnson songs and his own songs. Unusually, Lockwood performs these blues tracks utilizing a 12 string guitar instead of the traditional six string. The 13 tracks are remarkably well done. Authenticated on discogs.com
