Verging on ambiance, Liz Harris' blend of Psychedelic Folk & Dream Pop is utterly chilling. (Edited)
A wonderful atmospheric album.
The soundscapes made of reverbs and of Liz's voice convey images of tree shadows or blissful naps during a thunderstorm.
I wonder what the deer smelt like after she got done dragging it. I bet she ate it afterwards. I can dig it.
Perfect autumnal music. She mixes drone, echoes, and guitar to make something that really sounds like no other album. Can this be characterized as ghostly folk? Each song is recognizable so no need to worry if you're going to get a monotonous album here.
