So this was a bit of a confusing album to try to find information on. I thought it very odd that 3 different artists each recorded an album worth of material and released them together on a triple album.
Well turns out Isengrind and TwinSisterMoon are each solo artists, and when they play together, they're called Natural Snow Buildings. The credits on this album would be like if Speakerboxxx/The Love Below were packaged with Stankonia, with Speakerboxxx credited to Big Boi, The Love Below to Andre 3000, and Stankonia to OutKast.
Anyway, hope that info helps anyone who was as confused as me. For the music, it's almost like a mix of spiritual jazz and atmospheric black metal. Like if Alice Coltrane and Burzum's music got blended together. Do I like it? hard to say. Is it interesting and worth a listen? Very much so. It's long, so if someone is interested in breaking it up into parts, I think it lends itself well to that. The first part by Isengrind solo is my favorite.
