Brilliant album jam packed full of fun quirky pop rock tunes. Loved it when it came out and every track still sounds great now

This album is stupid fun
It kind of reminds me of earlier Arctic Monkeys, especially since they started in the same year. I don’t think it succeeds to the same level Arctic Monkeys does, but it’s still solid music. Nothing special, just good.

Favorite Tracks: Henrietta, Ole Black N' Blue Eyes & Whistle for the Choir
A fantastic party album. The Fratelli's reputation seriously nose dived after this record, but that shouldn't take away the sense of enormous fun to be had here. Great stuff.

I agree IN PART with Paladisiac's comment. What you say is true BUT they managed to write an album full of cool songs, not masterpieces, note, but NICE songs. And Chelsea Dagger, Henrietta and Flathead and probably some others were all used for some spots meaning that it works. I don't completely like it, I mean, each song is in its way likeable, but IMO, it doesn't represent an "indie" album in its original sense, just like last Arctic Monkeys album.
