Shortlisted for album of the year at the 2001 Mercury Music Prize. The winner was Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea by PJ Harvey
a nice easy listening album. Relaxing but not thrilling for me. My favourites are In the Waiting Line and Destiny

This is a damn good album. When it came out I was shocked at how much they'd "ripped off" Air. But when you delve in the carve their own path. Wonderfully produced. In fact not far behind Moon Safari on quality. Quality instrumentation, songs and vocals (Sia makes her name here). A must hear from the period. I want to hear it now, where is my cd?
Great trip-hop/lounge album, with 2 songs, The Waiting Line & Destiny, featuring some of most chilling & superb female vocal performances ever recorded.

Clearly not enough people have listened to this. It's one of my all time favourites and everybody I have played it to agrees it's *amazing*.

Amazing album! I agree the vocal tracks are the best in here
The first three tracks r great. "Easy listening" at its finest. If I owned a coffee shop or a lounge, they would be on heavy rotation. After that, the album becomes pretty boring & doesn't really hold up to dedicated listening. Music for Mausoleums?
The vocals are the best part of the album!
