Subtítulo does feel lightweight with its short length and sunny feel, but it’s another high class collection of songs.
After 1972 and Nashville, i should've guessed he couldn't maintain that high level forever. Josh slips a bit with "Subtitulo", a MILDLY Spanish-inflected brief album of more pop gems. He just doesn't seem to run out of them. He's quite relaxed on this album, like he wrote all these tracks with acoustic guitar on some near-Mediterranean veranda. It's a lazy afternoon feeling that i enjoyed, just not as much as previous efforts.
