Lacklustre but not a painful listen. I'd predict you can't say that for their later albums. At worst it's bandwagon post-grunge slurping up the remains of the genre. Only track that stuck out like a thorn was She Hates Me, where Wes literally sounds like a teenage brat. It's really fucking bad lol. The rest is formulaic edgy brood music supported by heavy guitars. Whether or not you can tolerate the 2000's angst is up to you, personally I still think it sounds better than a lot of slop in the Spotify Top 100.

What is good is that it sticks to trying to make radio bangers. Which is why as an album it falls flat and you'll only go back to certain tracks. Drift & Die and Blurry are genuine classics, the rest wavers from decent to meh. (Edited)

One of my favorite post-grunge albums from all the popular post-grunge bands of the 2000’s.

This album is what happens when you take Limp Bizkit and Creed and mix them together. (Edited)

I used to like "Drift And Die" but I got bored of it easily.
The rest of the album is pretty much boring teen rock of the early 00's

Good tracks: She hates me, Blurry
Decent tracks: Nobody Told Me, Said, Piss It All Away
Cobain imitation: Failed

Come on, they're pretty great. It's trash, but good trash. Stand-out tracks: Control, Drift & Die, Blurry, She Hates Me.

Crude alt. rock for angsty teenagers. Save for songs that relate to Wes Scantlin's personal narrative and his relationship with his son, these are all comical jams about doing it. Which is cool if that's your thing, I suppose.

She Hates Me is a great track.

The toddler pissing on the cover says it all.

After Blurry and Control, the quality goes down rapidly.
