This album is very uneven. This is the last album where Gentle Giant are pushing a very progressive tracklist, and to me, it sounds like this is where they push a little too hard. It is definitely weaker than all their previous albums. It sounds like they are trying too much and it comes out a little flat. But this is still Gentle Giant, so there are still great songs in here (Interview, Empty City, I Lost My Head). But sadly, it also the GG album with the most mediocre songs (Give It Back, Timing). All in all, not GG's best by far, but still a very interesting listen.
