This is maybe a little better than they got credit for. Classic case of a (long-delayed) sophomore album that doesn't live up to the hype of their debut. The first 5 tracks aren't that great and border on being obnoxious - "Mad Dog God Dam" shouldn't have been the single; I think it's fine once or twice but annoying after that. "Your Arse My Place" is really annoying. But after that, things pick up. "Human" is the best song on the album, IMHO, and "Nothing Stays The Same" is good too. "Miami Nice" is an instrumental that isn't really my thing but would fit right in with the popular YouTube Chillwave today. Everything else is just alright, not bad but not great either. "Da Da Da" is a fine cover I guess, if you never heard the original. Overall, they shouldn't have leaned so hard into the obnoxious bratty Brit image because by this point it feels a little inorganic. But there are a few hidden gems here.

An interesting album, there are no bad tracks, but there are no real stand-outs either. Sounds like discordant chaos at times with odd noises interjected randomly, but it does work. Better than the first album?
