This entire album is credited to Muhammad Ali, but the truth is revealed on the back as the subtitle is "Songs Performed By, Written By, Or About Muhammad Ali!" - only 4 tracks have him performing, 2 are instrumentals by "The Crimson Dynasty Orchestra" (whoever they are), and the other 4 are by unknown artists "Destiny Knight", "Ron Jonas", and "B.J. Smith".
Anyhow, the instrumental tracks are fine, I guess. I don't know what they have to do with Muhammad Ali, but whatever.
The rest is pretty rough.
On the ones with Ali, he's either sing/speaking while backup singers sing, or just singing badly. Some are better than others, but none of them are great.
B.J. Smith's "Ali's Theme" is the best thing here. Whoever she is, she can actually sing.
The first Ron Jonas track "Ali's Dream" is not too bad.
The other Ron Jonas track "A Great World (With Ali's Dream)" drones on for over 5 and a half minutes.
The Destiny Knight track "One Fist Of Iron The Other Of Steel" is just goofy.
Album overall is a obvious cheesefest, which is somewhat amusing at times, but mostly just not very good. (Edited)
