The singles from this which I knew from back in the day didn't overly impress me at the time. My, how this turned out to be a dark horse gem. A lot of the other tracks fuck over those that were chosen as the singles. A very consistent album. Mild hints of grunge but based in rhythmic rock. It's really good. Love it. (Edited)
The best Incubus album imo. Morning View shows the band at their creative peak, blending different genres and experimenting with a variety of instruments and sounds efficiently. Not a single bad, mediocre, or filler track, all 13 songs are amazing. Truly a masterpiece, and it deserves a much higher ranking honestly. It should be at least in the top 500 greatest albums of all time.
Nothing spectacular, but an enjoyable and relaxing listen. A hint of metal with a couple of the songs but it is mostly chilled-out indie rock. My highlights are Wish You Were Here, Nice To Know You and Are You In? (yes I am, it's a thumbs up from me)
This album, the hit singles from it and this band never fails to take me back to the Early-2000’s. (Edited)

I never got why Incubus was so popular? I find their releases so pedestrian and well ...plain. I’ll get some thumbs down for this I know how ever it’s my honest opinion
I guess there is a sort of really long list to enjoy this album fully. A piece of your heart belonging to the beach, wondering if life can be better than "this", And having a complicated mind with simple emotions. That's the best I can describe it and I'm not really doing it any justice
Morning View sounds like the brother of Make Yourself, they could be a double album really. Morning View probably punches a little harder than Make Yourself.
Are You In, Wish You Were Here, Warning, Nice To Know You, 11AM, Circles are all great songs.
A couple duds like Echo and Have You Ever drop it down to 95. And I dock 5 point for it being a louder clone of Make Yourself and riding the wave of success instead of evolving.
So 90/100, one of the better rock albums of the time period

Nitro you must have seriously changed your opinion, because "average" usually doesn't jive with being on your overall chart. But anyway, I used to absolutely love this album and it will always be special to me, but it doesn't affect me nearly as much as it once did.
