The celebrated composer Cartola finally had his 1st album as an interpreter released when he was 66 years-old (6 years before his death). It's one of the most important samba records ever made. Heartachingly beautiful, with pungent, bittersweet lyrics, at the same time highly poetic and unpretentious. You need to listen to this sublime work of art.
