1993 witnessed the release of another album of 10 unique and quirky songs from Robyn Hitchcock And The Egyptians, "Respect." Carrying on the traditions of obsessive fixation on death and reptiles, Hitchcock does not let down his cult of fans and followers. His quirky love songs and commentary on modern life are still readily mixed in with pop music. A & M Records (Cat #: 31454 0064 2) has everything that a regular Hitchcock afficianado will enjoy, and may introduce new listeners to an upcoming future favorite. Authenticated on discogs.com
