Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 79.3/100, a mean average of 78.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 18.4.

Definitely an amazing listen and his best
This schizofrenic whole is honestly better than the parts. What's great about his style is that he can take any genre and make it sound like a Weeknd track. An enviable skill that a lot of the people he samples wish they could do.
"Trilogy" is the assembly of the three mixtapes ("House of Balloons", "Thursday" and "Echoes of Silence") that The Weeknd had released previously. Side by side, they form an album that stretches heavily, like a party that never ends. We dive for three hours in a unique R'N'B experience, through pointy and dark productions, and Abel's aerial voice playing his magnificent vibrato. This is the kind of music you can listen to to calm down, to take off, or when you just feel melancholy. The stories of drugs and sex, during the night, the suffering and the tears always in the background ... All this mixes in a sulphurous atmosphere. This album is a sensational explosion of sensuality.
9/10
Best track: "The Morning"
Coldness incorporated. And shallow horny feelings. I still like it, even though I fear it. Don't want to get caught in that emotional setting...
Incredible mixtapes, a very intoxicating sound, with good vocals and spacious vibe. PBR&b in it's best form.
