An album that needs more love
A hazy and moody R&B record. I was never on The Weeknd until he came on the pop scene. Once he got on the scene I had to listen and he is so good. This was an excellent record. Also need to get Starboy as well.
Underrated album, it has a cinematic vibe and the lyrics are nothing impressive, but it's the Weeknd's best work, underlook by many people because of the experimental sounds.
Very disappointing album, a wasted opportunity. The lyrics are terrible, lacking any of the genius he showed on his mixtapes, especially on House of Balloons. One of the biggest, if not the biggest, disappointments of 2013
