Right off the tail of his surprise smash record "Diamonds and Dirt," Crowell sought more success on country radio with his eclectic rockabilly style that fit well with the neo-traditionalist movement.

What a great follow-up, probably his best 80's record and maybe even better than Diamonds and Dirt. Unfortunately, Crowell's new record was not country enough for country radio.

Twenty five years later, it's still a great record...a great ROCK record.

Track Pick: Many a Long and Lonesome Highway
