Shortlisted for the 1996 Mercury Music Prize. The Winner was Different Class by Pulp
Personally think this beats anything Shaun did with the Happy Mondays are they were a great band

It's all OK, nothing special, missing a stand out track.
I forgot how much I liked this album. There is an underlying groove which makes up for some of the repetitive content. Side A is stronger than side B. Different to Happy Mondays but it was this album that got me to buy their back catalogue. Overall this is my favourite Shaun Ryder album.
Very underrated here.One of the british classics that stands the test of time.
