Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 70.8/100, a mean average of 69.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.4.

This album isn't as definitive as LiveLoveA$AP but it's good and slaps through the whole project. However, it is definitive of the year 2013 and is memorable with nostalgia partying. The beats are what is most memorable about this project.
good follow up to livelove, not as good imo but i love the atmospheric beats
Took a few listens, but I'm REALLY digging this

I had to think long and hard about this one. The beginning of this album is really mediocre. Mostly just A$AP rapping about the same things every rapper raps about (I’m so awesome, all the ladies love me etc.), which isn’t necessarily a bad thing provided the music is good, which it isn’t. I mean, it’s alright, not bad, but not great. Then the middle part of the album shows up and it gets good, mostly because it features other people, specifically, Kendrick Lamar. Most of the featured rappers do quite a good job and the music seems to get better with others featured in it. Thus I came to the conclusion that A$AP by himself is ok, but with other people, he does just fine. Oddly, the best song on the album is a pairing I would’ve never picked out, A$AP and Skrillex. Weird right?

Surprisingly brilliant, fast becoming one of my favourite hip hop albums.
I underrated this on first listen. It avoids any major pitfalls, with only 1 real cringeworthy track (PMW) and one collaboration that should have failed but he saves it (Wild for the Night). He picks incredible beats that are very atmospheric, especially the incredible Clams Casino beats here. Solid pop rap. Also, "Goldie" is amazing.
A potentially great album, let down by two unignorable and unforgivably bad songs halfway through ('Fuckin' Problem' and 'Wild For The Night'). He still sounds better on Clams Casino beats than anybody else. Him and ScHoolboy Q also have great chemistry, as proven on 'PMW' and a handful of other tracks they've recorded together. Rocky's content may be lacking, but he has a great Southern flow and he sounds about as cool as anybody else rapping at the moment. Just a shame about those two aforementioned tracks, they are seriously terrible. Somebody should've vetoed that shit.

Can i quote the last person? It's disappointing with a couple of salvagable songs near the end, "f!@#king problems" and "1train", both coincidentally featuring many guests.
Disappointing album, the second half does improve. But overall poor.
This is an album filled with really good tracks and tracks that are just downright terrible. I hate saying this (being a big fan of his live love mixtape) but there seem to be more downsides than upsides to this project. Great tracks: are: The title track, 1train, and suddenly. The somewhat decent tracks: Goldie, PMW, F**kin Problems. Every other track on this album is straight up garbage, especially wild for the night and fashion killa. I have no clue what A$ap is even thinking when he releases these deep 'suicidal' tracks, It almost seems like hes trying to prove himself as a lyrical rapper which he is in no way at all. A$ap Rocky definetly failed by trying to bring more than he could offer. I'll give this a 55 because there are 3 really great tracks on here.
