The best Marvin Gaye album from the 1960's Side 1 (tracks 1-6)is brilliant Side 2 is good but has a few fillers. Ain't That Peculiar, One More Heartache & I'll Be Doggone were all hit singles.
Well platus must be seriously hearing impaired if he thinks this album only rates a 5.
Shining example of early Marvin... Admittedly not as good as his later albums but his incredible singing talent still shines through.
highlight for me is 'Ain't That Peculiar' - a beautiful interpretation of a classic Smokey Robinson written track!
