30 odd years on and I still hardly ever listen to this without stopping it at least once to play something over and ask myself "How did she do that?" or "How did she think of that?"

Avendo io scoperto ed amato "Ingenue" sono poi andato a ritroso alla ricerca di qualche altro suo disco precedente: "Ingenue" rimane inarrivabile, ma questo "Shadowland" si dimostra un signor disco, magari con qualche concessione di troppo ai lustrini…
This record blew me away the first time I heard it and I have been a big fan of Ms. Lang's music ever since. From beginning to end not a stinker on here.

KD's last remotely country album, before she explored other avenues. Her voice has never sounded better, and she's developing a different approach to her music. Ingenue is better, but this shows her growing as an artist.
