Very poppy album, which might garner it some hate, but Cole pulls off great verses and great melodies to make an excellent pop rap album.
One of the best "studio album" from J Cole. Rich niggaz second verse is incredible. Underrated but still the beat are a little bit too much pop sounding for me.
This is Cole's best release yet. Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.
Kanye's my boy and I love his music, but let's be honest, it's a disgrace Born Sinner is lower than Yeezus. This is easily the better album that came out Tuesday. The lyrics on this album blow Kanye's out of the water. I listened to Yeezus then this and I'm so glad I did. J. Cole sold me by the end of the first verse lol. Production and beats Kanye probably has the edge, but J. Cole's lyrics are much better. I recommend both, but give first preference to this, and this is coming from a big fan of all of Kanye's music.
